Printing a Map thats 36x48 on 13x19 paper
      #16041 - 08/27/09 10:42 AM

Hey I herd about the tile option in the print porsion but when I go to print it... page 1 looks fine, page 2 looks like a bunch of square boxes page 3 repeats, maybe page 6 is fine, then repeats... Ive gone trough 16 pages before I realized I could have used the Print Preview feature and I would have caught this issue sooner.

I'm not quite sure what the question is here, but I've had an issue with printing the covers of old-school vinyl record albums. I scan it in sections and then put the sections together using Photoshop. Works great for creating CD jewel case covers though it's a bit cumbersome setting it up manually; it'd be a real issue if I were doing it professionally, but it's fine if I'm doing an occasional one as a hobby.

I suspect you could scan the map in the same way. Just be sure to get the edges flush against the side of the scanner so you don't have to adjust the angle with the Transform tool.
