DP2 Print Size
      #16198 - 10/29/09 09:03 PM

This one is for anyone who might own the Dp2. I would like to know what is the largest quality print from this camera. I have not bought one but am looking too. Keep in mind I will process in raw but I print online which does not allow me that control. My online prints from my D200 has produced very nice 16x20 prints using a photo rag mat paper.I have not found much information about printing from Dp2 files. SO what do you think here. I hopoe to get my own printer in the future but for now it is still online.

I would expect you to be able to get similar quality prints as you get from the D200.

If you can use a 28mm lens, I have a DP1 for sale that is virtually unused, under 50 exposures. I purchased it for a specific project which never materialized.

Thanks Larry I will consider your offer. My problem is I am selling the D200 And replace it with the DP2 or D-lux4. I believe the Dp2 is better choice between these two for print quality and is cheaper. It seems like every time I get ready to make a move on getting another camera something happens that takes my money. That happen today. A unplanned expense. I have an offer from Adorama for my D200 and it seems in the range of what it is worth So the trade won't be much more money.

I haven't been selling much this year so I decided just to have a camera I would have fun with and be able to carry with me. I like the image quality of the D-lux4 and I know the price is high on the D-Lux4 but I would enjoy it. I would also enjoy the image quality from the Dp2. which is not that different from the DP1. The Nikon is a camera I have to plan to have with me and many times that is not possible so I just need a change. I think is time for me to just have fun capturing image on the spare of the moment.
